Maps I made with notes

I have master outlines of Europe I have drawn.

Then I include the part of the map needed to follow along with the text:

Detail with Black Sea, Turkey and Balkans

I mark them up in different ways.

Sometimes I just take my notes right over the outlines

and make a few markings on the map.

I use crayons to color the maps:

Notes are color coded for names, places, dates and etc.

A city street plan of Ancient Florence (Florentia).

Note the grid configuration indicative

of a Roman military camp.
